In addition to providing freelance pastry and food styling services, Amanda is also an avid writer.

She has written extensively for Ed Levine's Serious Eats, a website devoted to the celebration and exchange of food ideas and enthusiasm, and her recipes and copy have appeared in several CondeNet promotions. Greenwood Publishing Group’s forthcoming Be Our Guest: World Entertaining Through History and Culture, edited by Francine Segan, will include her entry on the history and significance of dessert.

Amanda is also the author of the book New York Architecture: A History, featuring the photography of Richard Berenholtz.
